Pilots, just like drivers of other common carriers, have that high sense of responsibility for the safety of their passengers. When a pilot gets hold of the aircraft, he is not only compelled by law to ensure the safety and welfare of the passengers, but also to abide by the international and domestic laws concerning air travel. In fact, the diligence required of an aircraft, most especially of its pilot or captain, is the so-called “extraordinary diligence”. These passengers have the right to assume that they are at all times safe from any untoward incident. Sadly however, there are some who fail to exercise the necessary standard guidelines in handling aircrafts. Even the slightest error can result to fatal accidents that may lead to serious personal injuries or even to passengers’ death. In relation to this, pilots must always be cautious and careful in flying aircrafts.
